We don't know yet. That is why we test.

Implausible investigates whether humans can predict events better than chance. It is an open scientific question. There is no scientific consensus that precognition exists.

Nothing we publish claims that it does, or that any person has it. We report what the data shows, what it suggests, and what remains unexplained, and we keep those separate.

Your results

• Scores, profiles and feedback are statistical estimates based on a limited number of trials.
• A result above chance can happen by chance. Small samples are noisy. Patterns can reflect bias, coincidence or error.
• Your results do not certify any ability, and are not a prediction of future performance.
• Rankings and benchmarks compare you with other participants on our experiments only.

Research findings

Findings we share may be exploratory or preliminary unless we state that they were pre-registered and replicated. A surprising result is a reason to investigate further, not proof. We may revise or withdraw findings as more data comes in.

Not advice

Nothing on Implausible is financial, investment, medical, psychological, legal or other professional advice. Do not use your results, or anything we publish, to make decisions about money, health, safety, relationships or the law. Speak to a qualified professional.

Not an offer to invest

Implausible runs an internal, proprietary fund that trades only Implausible's own capital. It is not open to users, members, participants or any outside investor, and you cannot invest in it through Implausible.

Membership gives no access to, share in or benefit from the fund or its returns. If this ever changes, any opportunity would be offered only to eligible investors, through an authorised firm, with the documents the law requires.

Implausible Ltd is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Participant data is never used to make individual trading decisions. Any reference to the fund's past activity is not a reliable indicator of future results.
